How to object in the HCC consultation
How do I go on-line to the HCC website to take part in the council's consultation
Clicking the orange button below will take you directly to the HCC site where you will be guided to the 'Survey' form.
It's a quick & easy process. We'd love it if you clicked the button ASAP: the closing date is 5th March.
Below is an image of the on-line form which provides an example of how you fill it in. Tick where we've ticked, then type in your objection / view /comment in the box that we've outlined in red. Below, we've suggested the kind of objection that might cover your opinion . . .

Remember you are not objecting to a planning application: you are objecting to Purple Haze continuing to be listed in the Hampshire Minerals & Waste Plan as a quarry – and landfill site for non-hazardous or inert waste.

'Re. p181 of the plan, I object to Purple Haze being allocated as a quarry and, in particular, to its subsequent use for landfill as part of restoration to a natural habitat. I am very concerned that non-hazardous waste might be allowed as landfill should quarrying go ahead. I understand from expert opinion that the use inert waste infill to create soil for a restored landscape would not be successful for establishing the type of habitat promised by the quarry developer. I feel that a quarry at Purple Haze presents a serious range of impacts such as . . . '
